UPS Insurance
Each UPS package shipped domestically or international, is automatically protected by UPS against loss or damage up to a value of $100 (U.S.). The charge for each $100 of insured value, or fraction thereof, is $.35 (U.S.). The items in your order with a value greater than $100 will automatically have additional insurance purchased to the extent where the total value of the item is covered.
Gutter and Downspout Shipping Requierments
Due to UPS length restriction all orders for gutter or downspout products must be shipped via common carrier. To insure no damage occurs during shipment, we ship all Gutter and Downspout orders in a protective packaging tube. You will be contacted with exact shipping charges before your credit card is billed. All orders for products other than gutter and downspout will be billed for UPS charges calculated at time of order submission.
Miscalculated Quantities
Purchaser will be fully responsible for any materials miscalculated by Purchaser or Purchaser's Contractor or Subcontractor on take-off list from Approved Blueprint Drawing.
Prices
Prices quoted by CSC Sheet Metal, Inc. are current only, and subject to change without notice. In case of clerical error, per-unit price prevails, please examine all estimates carefully, as CSC Sheet Metal, Inc. agrees to furnish only the articles named and described thereon.
Order Contingency
All agreements contingent upon strikes, accidents, or other causes of delay beyond the control of CSC Sheet Metal, Inc.
Shortages
CSC Sheet Metal, Inc. agrees that the material sold to Purchaser shall be delivered to the site requested by Purchaser. Purchaser shall notify CSC Sheet Metal, Inc. within 48 hours of delivery, in writing, of any shortages. In the event of any such shortages, CSC Sheet Metal, Inc., at its expense, shall replace any missing materials. Failure of Purchaser to provide timely notification to CSC Sheet Metal, Inc. of shortages shall be deemed a full and complete acceptance of the materials delivered.
Shipping Damage
Purchaser should always be at the job site when the container arrives. Purchaser should always inspect all materials for any visible damage through breakage. If you find any problems inside the container, check the container itself to see if it shows damage form being dropped or hit, and note it on the delivery receipt in the presence of the delivery driver.
MAKE SURE TO HAVE THE DRIVER SIGN THE PACKAGING SLIP AND/OR BILL OF LADING SHOWING NOTATION OF THE DAMAGED MATERIAL WITHIN THE CONTAINER, AND SPECIFY OR MARK WHICH MATERIALS WERE DAMAGED OR BROKEN.
CSC Sheet Metal is not responsible for concealed damage of any kind. In the case the Purchaser receives damaged material(s), Purchaser must contact CSC Sheet Metal, Inc. within 24 hours. It is the Purchaser's responsibility to file a claim with the freight company and to notify CSC Sheet Metal, Inc immediately upon unloading of such freight claims.
Changes to this Policy
We may add to, delete from, or change the terms of this Privacy Policy from time to time.
